Why Integration Matters

A mechanical unit may be correctly selected, yet still arrive without confirmed electrical capacity, disconnect requirements, controls interfaces or adequate room clearances. A ceiling may work on one drawing but become congested when lighting, diffusers, sprinklers and access panels are overlaid.

Rooms, shafts & service clearances

Electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, risers, shafts and equipment access are reviewed before space becomes fixed.

Ceiling and architectural coordination

Lighting, diffusers, grilles, devices and access requirements are organized against the architectural reflected ceiling plan.

Fire alarm and mechanical interfaces

Shutdowns, smoke control intent, dampers, monitoring and related control responsibilities are identified and coordinated.

Controls, BAS and power responsibilities
